Good beach with facilities and new access. It has got a boardwalk and refreshment stands by the beach to taste the local gastronomy, specially fish.
Regeneration project made by the administration consisting in the construction of timber beach access boardwalk and pedestrian paths, revegetation works, electric lighting and the beach sand replenishment.

This beach has been regenerated with dark sand to make a wider beach area, planting native vegetation (wich will be water by plant-drip system), ilumintaion and building access to the beach. There are other facilities like showers and beach bars. It has an tranquil atmosphere. The beach is easily accessed by car (parking available) and bus.
Overlooking Cabo de Gata: The Cabo de Gata - Nijar Natural Park is a 30km long coastal strip along the Costa de Almeria, which has produced some of the most wonderful beaches and coves in Spain. This coastal nature reserve is a fascinating landscape cocktail of arid desert, volcanic mountains, jagged sea cliffs, sand dunes and sandy hidden coves.
